The 7-Step Guide to Creating Leads with LinkedIn

The 7-Step Guide to Creating Leads with LinkedIn
So you’re a LinkedIn user. You’ve populated your profile and joined groups. You might have even participated in discussions or answered some questions. Your primary goal with LinkedIn is to keep in touch with your existing customers and to generate new real estate leads.
Our 7 Steps to Generate Real Estate Leads with LinkedIn
Step 1: Commit that each Wednesday, you’ll connect with 5 current or former business associates. Connecting with people will make your business more visible. If that happens, people may recall you when they need your product or service. Connecting = Top Of Mind = Leads
Step 2:In the next 30 Days, you can join 17 Groups. Why 17? Because it’s not 2 or 3, which is the number most people join. Joining multiple Groups is the best way to increase your visibility online.
Step #3Each Group will have a discussion for 5 days. After doing it for 5 days, you’ll have made a few new friends in the group. Your discussion should contain a link to your website, or a piece of content, so that people can download your whitepaper or sign-up for your newsletter. When they download your whitepaper or sign up for your e-newsletter, you’ve captured their data so you can re-market to them in the future.
Step 4:Visit LinkedIn’s Answers Section and answer 2 questions per week. The trick here isn’t to answer a ton of questions all at once. It is best to answer two questions per week…consistently. In order to generate real estate leads, you should use similar strategies for LinkedIn Groups. Include links back at content whenever possible. Remember that turning Answers into property
Leads is a long-term strategy. You may need to answer 5 questions in order to generate a lead. Or it could take 25 or 50. It is important to keep at it for the long-term.
Step #5Make a Direct Ad. The key here is to have a landing page on your website where you can sell something directly or collect people’s contact information when they sign up for something you’re offering, like free content. If you’ve already got a landing page on your site, go into the Direct Ad function and create an ad for it. It’s surprisingly simple, and it might only take you about 30 minutes to an hour to write.
Step #6Your Profile Page can be used to add applications. If you’re interested in making your Profile Page as engaging as it can possibly be, then applications are the way to go. WordPress and the Reading List app from Amazon are two of the most widely used. But don’t stop there — take a look around and add your favorites.
Step 7:Rinse, and then repeat the steps above. You must be consistent to make LinkedIn work. Don’t believe anyone who tells you it’s easy or that you can get rich quick doing it. It’s important to show up regularly and build relationships with people. Once that happens, you’ll generate a steady stream of inbound property leads.
